The Leighton Solution.

We work closely with the local oversight agencies to ensure that the projects move forward to achieve G&M’s goal of regulatory closure. Leighton completes the reimbursement request forms for G&M and is well versed in all aspects of the UST reimbursement fund. We have closed seven G&M sites in the past seven years.

Our services have included soil boring and groundwater monitoring well installations, periodic groundwater monitoring, feasibility studies, soil vapor extraction (SVE) pilot tests and remediation, dual phase extraction (DPE), and Phase I ESAs.

During UST removals and soil excavations, Leighton performs air monitoring using our Various Locations Rule 1166 Contaminated Soil Mitigation Plan (Plan No. 447354). This plan allows excavation and removal of a maximum of up to 2,000 cubic yards of volatile organic compound (VOC) contaminated soil according to the excavation, handling, disposal, and monitoring requirements of this plan.
