A Park-and-Ride direct access lane provides convenient access to the South Bay Rapid. Additionally, carpools, vanpools, motorcycles, and permitted clean air vehicles can access the carpool lanes.

Project Fact:
This project is the first project in the State where Caltrans has written ASTM testing of structural concrete into the special provisions and required reporting of test results using the Caltrans Data Interchange for Materials Engineering (DiME).
The Leighton Solution.
Leighton provided laboratory testing to support the Caltrans District 11 Construction Management Team for the replacement of the Palomar Street Bridge over I-805 and construction of a new Direct Access Ramp connection to the bridge.
Services are being provided as subcontract issued under a Caltrans District 11 On-Call Construction Management contract.
