After 30 years with Leighton, we wish Carol Portillo a Happy Retirement!
For more than 30 years, Carol has been the voice of Leighton! If you’ve called our main phone line—you know her voice. She treats every client with kindness and that kindness can be felt by all those who come in contact with her. When it came to her Leighton colleagues, Carol took time to get to know everyone—where they’re from, do they have kids? Siblings? Hobbies? Leighton’s Rancho employees enjoyed Carol so much that they would come into the office simply to catch up with her. She always kept the office festive and decorated for every holiday (Halloween/fall being her favorite time of year) and went the extra mile to lend a helping hand whenever needed.
She will be hugely missed as she moves into retirement, but she did promise that she would drop in for visits. For now, she’s on to bigger and better things, like caring for her precious new granddaughter! It has been wonderful working with Carol for all these years and we are so grateful for her contribution to making Leighton successful. We wish her the best in retirement!
