Inspection
Along with materials testing, Leighton provides deputy inspection services for the construction industry. To verify that construction activities are compliant with appropriate city and building codes and design plans and specifications, our certified special deputy inspectors are on site to examine the following:
- Reinforced Concrete
- Prestressed Concrete
- Structural Masonry
- Structural Steel and Welding
- Fireproofing
- Non Destructive Testing
Special inspection is also completed off site at fabrication shops and concrete batch plants for approval before materials are sent to a job site.
Our experienced, veteran inspectors have multiple certifications from nationally recognized agencies that include:
- American Welding Society/Certified Welding Inspectors (AWS/CWI)
- American Concrete Institution (ACI)
- California Department of Transportation (Caltrans)
- California Division of the State Architect (DSA)
- International Code Council (ICC)
