Leighton offers a specialized internship program at each of its office locations for students who are currently studying in the field of geotechnical engineering or engineering geology. Available year-round, the internship program is led by devoted Technical Advisors who act as mentors providing engineering insight and leadership.

Leighton’s internship program offers real-world work experience. Project tasks vary from slope stability studies, fault studies, seismic hazards evaluation, geologic and landslide mapping, report preparation, and more. With valuable professional experience gained through Leighton’s internship program, students are well prepared to start up their careers upon graduation with the opportunity to become full-time employees at Leighton.
